The rich history of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers & Troopers Motorcycle Club began with a dream. The dream is Ken "Dream Maker" Thomas. His dream was to develop a motorcycle club to promote a positive image among blacks that would be respected in their communities and throughout the county. He founded the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of Chicago, October 1993 and was later chartered as the Buffalo Trooper of Chicago. The name Buffalo Soldiers was initially selected to pay homage to and endure the legacy of American American military contributions in the post Civil War era. His dream has grown over 100 chapters strong and is now chartered as THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BUFFALO SOLDIERS & TROOPERS MOTORCYCLE CLUB.
The colors of the NASBSTMC represents a long history. We wear with the colors with PRIDE & RESPECT. Our colors pay homage to the African Americans of the 9th & 10th Calvary, who sacrificed their lives so that our country could be what it is today. The represent a badge of courage, sacrifice and honor as well as those who continue to serve. The National Association of Buffalo Soldiers & Troopers Motorcycle Club is an organization of professional men and women that are dedicated to the sport or motorcycle riding and safety. Our motorcycles are a representation of the horses that were ridden by the Buffalo Soldiers in the 1800's. Our objective is to educate those that are unfamiliar with racism, sacrifices and hardships that the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th & 10th Cavalries had to endure. Our vision is to instill this knowledge into the minds and hearts of your youth today, so that we can motivate them to better citizens and leaders or tomorrow.
